I am absolutely delighted with the summer examination results and for all the hard work the children put in. Thank you so much to all the parents for your patience before and during the examination dates, we appreciate your support and flexibility with the different RAD & IDTA examination sessions.
The IDTA exam results were exceptionally high from both examiners with all pupils passing all dance subjects taken with Merit or Distinctions, with all marks reaching between 80%-92% pass marks.
Again excellent RAD ballet results with either Merit or Distinctions, especially to Avril who took Grade 8, and to Nina and Anna who gained Inter. Foundation with a Merit and a Distinction and my grateful thanks to Mrs Blackett for her critique with the Major Ballet work. Special mention also goes to Theo, for passing his Grade1 Ballet Class Award!
I am also very pleased and delighted to say that Nina and Anna gained IDTA Scholarship Nominations to the Theatre Awards to be held in Manchester next February for their Distinction performances in their Grade 4 Ballet examinations, and I am so proud of Miss Sara who trained Laura and Avril in their Intermediate Modern Jazz Syllabus and who both gained Distinctions with Laura also gaining a Nomination to the Modern Jazz Awards.
